Big Bear will be casting off Long Wharf, Newport heading for Bermuda at approx 9am US time. It looks to be a smooth sail down with a little more breeze as she nears Bermuda.
Bear’s crew is the legendary four Bear stalwarts, Skipper Jon Brewin, Shelagh Tasker, Jimmy Burnett-Herkes and Pete Ramsdale, joining is Alex Brooks, and Tim Charters. An awesome experienced crew to sail to Bermuda, and of course the infamous “Sooty Bear” is excited to get onto the high seas.
