And who’s bin drinkin my Heineken?
News from the Bear’s bilges. The delivery team – sort of scary midwives, arrived in tortola with pete, traveliing scum class, arriving ahead of JB and Leatrice travelling smoked salmon but broken plane class. Pete pursuaded the ferry to leave 20 minutes late so we all made it to the boat that night. Next day had a relaxing morning shopping for supplies. Supplies! We’re out of everything except barrits ginger beer – what more do you need to go to sea. Headed out at 3pm and shortly had arranged sails to skips satisfaction and off we pointed in a nice warm southerly breeze. Had a host of cruise ships pass us in the night – lights blazing as the all night bufetts ran. Breeze died a little in the night and we shook out the reef. Watch system was whoever could stay awake driving – a good appraoch I think as I tried to sleep all the way. Anchored in the dark and grabbed a couple of hours before the bridge opened to let us arrive in our swank marina – well it has a bathroom and is staggering distance from tonights party. Marina is part of the airport complex – planes try and remove your windex and they struggle to take off – pilots full hot probably. So Bear all set for racing – just need the crew to arrive then party followed by 730am bridge – ouch
