And who’s been sleeping in my bunk?

After a very subdued heineken party – after numerous green beers at least I think we were subdued. No one bothered with looking at scantilly clad swimsuit models (I may have actually risked an eye). Brief sleep and up at 630 to get through the bridge – dozens of boats milling around trying to figure out the start – if I’d drunk more beer it would have made more sense. At our start it was big boats, bigger boats and oh my god look at the size of that one. Little Bear as the snallest boat nipped at the heels and had to settle with bad air on first beat. After that it was chute up for the next few hours as we made our way round the west (french) side of the island., then hard on the dying breeze down the clogside to the finish 6 hours later. All in all a wonderful sail in very light breeze. At no time did we sail near the nudist beach and ken didn’t look at all anyway. Now tied up to a floating palace called Watercolours – just another day roughing in St Maarten. Results seem to put us 11th in class (just need a bit more breeze).
