Who’s bin hidin my waterproofs?

Sooty had a not too late night at “da rugga rugga jump up reggae mon parti” – is it just an age thing or was it just noise. Party full of locals in their party finery – gold chains and spandex featured heavily for those followers of gangsta fashion, Wind got up in the evening and shifted to the north. An evening on Watercolours with one or two or maybe seven gin and tings then slid into the cave to listen to the wide range of boat noises rather than sleep. Middle of the night we were bumping into Watercolours so had to move in a hurry. How many hairy arsed boxer shorted sleepy headed crew does it take to find the anchor, winch it out, reattach to chain and throw it overboard? More than we had. We eventually settled down again for an hours sleep before we got ready for racing. Up at dawn to rain and no vis in strong wind – we lurked near the start and as the weather didn’t clear decided to abandon the race and head to Simpson bay and bacon butties on Watercolours. Good call. Will check out of immigration later in day and 3 of us sail overnight to BVI. Sooty heading for hot tub…… Pete Ramsdale pete@sadiiqi.com +1 (441) 504-PETE (7383)
