Big Bear is now equipped with Spot Tracker – a device for communicating position by satellite, and updating web site maps.

Follow the link to see where the Bear is – use “bearblog” to get in.

The system uses GoogleMaps – be patient and the maps, satellite images, etc. will appear eventually (in the meantime make a cup of tea, just like on the Bear).

If you don’t get any data, then “Spot” may be turned off.
